A problem with your sewer system can cause significant problems. In addition to the foul stench, an array of other problems such as fungi, viruses and other pathogens can create serious health hazards. If sewage damage remains untreated, it can cause major structural damage which can be extraordinarily expensive to repair. Sewage damage can contain high amounts of harmful bacteria and there are serious health risks associated with it. It’s critical that you do not try to clean up a mess from broken pipes that are connected to a sewage line. Coming in contact with raw sewage can cause disease, can destroy your valuables and cause severe damage to your property. Only trained professionals with the right equipment should handle sewage removal. Our team of professionally certified experts have years of experience resolving various sewage cleanup and repair problems.
Flooded basements tend to present more challenges than ground level rooms. Basements are the lowest point in a home and tend to flood first during any kind of water damage emergency. Water intrusions can occur in basements from sources inside and outside the home. Excessive rain could saturate the ground, resulting in hydrostatic pressure – which occurs when moisture outside of the basement or foundational wall exceeds the pressure inside. Water will naturally seek the lower pressure, resulting in leaks and even cracks. We will detect the water in your basement quickly and handle the water removal completely. Do not wait to call if you have basement water damage in Powder Springs.
We are a certified water damage company that can help all residential and commercial water damage victims. If you are suffering from an emergency water damage situation, don’t hesitate to call right away so we can start the water damage repairs as soon as possible.
The town of Powder Springs was incorporated in 1838 under a different name in the lands of two Cherokee Indian leaders. Gold had been discovered in Georgia ten years earlier, and the first European-American settlers came to find gold. The settlers found little gold in the mines at Lost Mountain and off Brownsville Road. It was at about this time that the Cherokee people were forced off their land and removed to Indian Territory west of the Mississippi River on the Trail of Tears. The town was renamed as Powder Springs in 1859. The name was derived from the seven springs in the city limits. The water in these springs contains some 26 minerals that turn the surrounding sand black like gunpowder – hence the earlier name of Gunpowder Springs. Today, Powder Springs is home to attraction such as the Powder Springs Library. We provide service in and around Powder Springs GA, including 30064, 30127, 30141.
