Job Summary

As an Entry Level Technician , you will be expected to master the skills and techniques that will pivot you into the role known as “the heart of our company.” This position works alongside a lead technician, learning all critical IICRC standards and responsibilities necessary to properly mitigate a property back to pre-loss conditions. 

Responsibilities Include:

  • Loading/Unloading work trucks with drying equipment & necessary materials to properly stabilize and mitigate damaged properties.
  • Initial assessment of water/smoke/fire damage claims and completion of any mitigation-related tasks which include (but are not limited to) securing the job site, perform any necessary demo/cleaning and setting equipment in the attempt to dry/deodorize the structure
  • Inventory, pack, clean and move any contents out of the affected areas
  • Cleans and deodorizes walls, floors, and building contents to salvage property
  • Fast-paced work environment that focuses on completing the job in a thorough yet efficient and timely manner
  • Must be willing to rotate on-call after hours response to emergency water removal calls.
  • Extracts water and moisture from buildings using commercial equipment, including air movers and dehumidifiers.
  • Cleans and maintains equipment and vehicles.
  • Complies with federal, state, and company safety and environmental rules.

Job Summary 

The Lead Technician will support PM to oversee restoration projects, including coordinating duties concerned with the remediation of structures, facilities, and systems. They will need to support PM in coordinating workers, material and equipment as well as make sure that all specifications are being followed. The position requires attention to detail in all aspects of selling, planning, client experience and running jobs. Communication skills, both verbal and written are important aspects of the Lead Technician position. Patience, listening skills, and sensitivity are an integral aspect of the position as well.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Expected to be knowledgeable and go above and beyond for customers in order to gain excellent customer service.
  • Support PM in coordinating job starts and scheduling appointments with customers and clients
  • Coordinate work duties with subcontractors and field personnel
  • Some Overtime may be expected on an as-needed basis

Job Summary 

The Restoration Project Manager simultaneously oversees multiple restoration projects at once. You will need to work closely with the Lead Technician in performing thorough walk-throughs and coordination of all necessary tasks required to restore the property back to pre-loss conditions. This position requires a keen sense of attention to detail as well as patience, strong listening skills, and sensitivity are all an integral aspect of the Restoration Project Manager position. You are responsible for growing sales, maintaining relationships with contracting networks and developing the mitigation division.

Position Objectives:

The Restoration PM is an important part of the overall delivery of services to our customers. Relationship development and sensitivity to the needs of the customer are critical aspect of the position. The PM represents the image and professionalism necessary to gain the respect and consideration of both customers and co-workers. Evaluation and analysis of situations, and subsequent decision making processes are necessary in the conduct of this position.

Responsibilities and Skills Sets Include:

  • Expected to be knowledgeable and go above and beyond for customers in order to provide excellent customer service.
  • Expected to answer company phone 24/7 during assigned on-call week
  • Manage multiple complex projects simultaneously
  • Provide technical explanations to claims adjusters, consultants, and others
  • Coordinate job starts and schedule appointments with customers and clients
  • Coordinate work duties with subcontractors and field personnel
  • Support culture of safety by adhering to and supporting all OSHA & EPA regulations on job sites
  • Leverage critical thinking and problem-solving skills to review related information then developing and evaluate options as well as implement solutions
  • Ability to field measure for various products and materials prior to job start
  • Supervise mitigation team including training, and performance management
  • Communicate with customers throughout restoration process

  • Oversee performance of all trade contractors and reviews all documentation to ensure all specifications and regulations are being followed.
  • Track and control the project schedule and associated costs to achieve completion of project within time and budget
  • Reports to relevant parties on project status and progress
  • Compile and resolve punch list items.

Experience 

  • Extensive water damage restoration experience required 
  • Punctual and Driven attitude 
  • Must be proficient in structural drying techniques and Insurance restoration claims management.

  • Xactimate Estimating Experience – required

Job Summary

The Project Coordinator is a critical component to our operations side of each project. Our Project Coordinators oversee assisting our Project Managers on our ongoing projects. This task involves monitoring project plans, schedules, work hours, budgets, and expenditures, organizing and participating in project meetings, and ensuring that the project deadlines are been met in a timely manner.

Core responsibilities for the position are as follows:

  • Assist Project Managers with scheduling sub-contractor, estimators and mitigation crew
  • Clerical and administrative tasks to support project manager organization
  • Communicate with customers on the progress of their projects
  • Resolve customer service issues
  • Manage schedules, calendars and appointments
  • Interpret contracts and adhere to TPA issued compliance
  • Assist with billing
  • Develop and implement priorities of the job with the project manager, customer and adjuster 
  • Arrange equipment and materials on recon projects
  • Daily project progress updates in restoration management software
  • Arrange subcontractors and casual laborers as needed.
  • Request and approve all subcontractor bids and invoices.
  • Organize and track all costs associated with projects
  • Enter information completed by the Technicians and Project Managers into management programs (DASH, Xactianalysis, and Mica reports).
  • Create and maintain job files ensuring all job pertinent reports and documents, including budget worksheets, invoices, Project Reports are properly filed.
  • Serve as a point of contact to all office vendors, customers, and field personnel.
  • Participate in production meetings.
  • Organize weekly, bi-weekly, monthly meetings in accordance with company policy, including but not limited to: safety meetings, In-office meetings, production meetings, etc.
  • Provide administrative supported needed to: Office Manager, Project Supervisor, Project Managers, Operations Manager, Technicians and Human Resources.

Experience/ Requirements 

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 2+ years of proven work experience in a restoration or construction industry.
  • Use of good judgement and discretion with handling confidential data.
  • Strong knowledge in working with MS Office, DASH, Cloud Management Software, Xactanalysis
  • Highly punctual, with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Punctual and proven ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Utilize resources and ensure systems with consistency 
  • High attention to detail, accuracy, and proofreading
